Orchestra's Season Finale Concert, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM. The concert opens with ECO Music Director William Hill’s composition Three Tangos. Bill has orchestrated his charming set of Tangos, which were originally composed for solo piano and then transcribed for piano and violin. Bill performed two of these Tangos at our virtual Summer Soirée event and they were a big hit. Bergen Peak Half Marathon Trail Race-$45.00, Evergreen

Bergen Peak runners will experience the rolling hills of Elk Meadow and the strenuous switchbacks of Bergen Peak and Too Long Trail. While ascending more then 2,000 feet, runners will peak at a total elevation of 9,000 feet as they cover this 13.1 mile course.
Participants should meet at the Buchanan Park Recreation Center near the Pioneer Trailhead. Registration/Check In will start at 7am and will close at 7:50am. Race will start at 8am. This is a cup free race with NO Aid Stations. Register at:

2022 Rhubarb Festival, 


Bring your family and friends to our annual benefit for the Pine Elk Creek Improvement Association and the North Fork Fire Department. Enter your favorite Rhubarb Dish by 11:00 am for the baking contest and you could be crowned King or Queen and ride in the parade as Rhubarb Royalty. The El Jebel Shriner’s mini cars and Smokey Bear have been among the many who participate in our fun parade. There will be lots of family fun with live music from local bands and shopping for the beautiful creations of local artists and crafters. Past winning recipes and long time traditional favorites are published in the Rhubarb Cookbooks that will be for sale.
