Virtual NAMI Family-to-Family is free, eight-session program for family, friends, and significant others of adults with a mental condition.   Participants learn about communication, problem solving, treatment, recovery, and specific mental health conditions.  The course is designed to increase understanding and advocacy skills while helping participants maintain their own wellbeing.  The evidence-based program is facilitated by trained family members who have a loved one with a mental health condition. Salida Annual Golf Scramble-11:00 am - 2:30 pm. This golfing event requires preregistration and will cost $160 for a team of four, or $40 per person. Teams must have at least one player of the opposite sex. The fee includes the nine-hole round of golf, one mulligan each, food & drink, and a Starter Kit (includes towel, ball & tee) from Ryan Lynch with American Family Insurance. Golf carts are NOT INCLUDED and will be available on a first come first serve basis at the Pro Shop.  Handcarts will also be available on a limited basis.  The Salida Chamber invites you to preregister your team of four by calling (719) 539-2068 or emailing office@salidachamber.org.

the 37th Mountain Mania Car Show- 9:00am to 3:00pm, A group of local car enthusiasts, the Arkansas Valley Car Club started this incredible car show on East Main Street and the tradition continues today, now powered by the Buena Vista Optimist Club.
